WHAT IS AEROEVA?

- EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) is a closed-cell foam known for its durability, light weight, and comfort.
- It is made from UV-resistant closed-cell PE/EVA foam and is extremely stain resistant.

Thermal Properties of EVA Foam
EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) foam is well-regarded for its excellent insulating and cushioning properties, making it an ideal material for aircraft interiors, flooring, and various industrial uses.
Key Thermal Properties:
Thermal Conductivity: ~0.034-0.045 W/m·K
Service Temperature Range: -30C to 80C (~ -22F to 176F)
Melting Point: ~85C to 96C (~185F to 205F)
Thermal Insulation Capability: Moderate to High (similar to closed-cell PE)
Flame Resistance: Standard EVA is not flame-retardant, but can be modified with additives.
What This Means for Aircraft Interiors:
- Provides heat insulation to reduce cockpit heat transfer
- Soft and temperature-buffering surface underfoot
- Thermally stable in normal cabin temperature ranges
- Can be paired with flame-retardant backing if needed
